Shoal Creek 912 Project Goes to the Fair!!

The Shoal Creek 912 Project group invites you to join us at the Montgomery County Fair, June 23-27, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

It is time the citizens of Montgomery County and surrounding areas know the truth (and history) about our Constitution, our eroding liberties, and corruption in state and federal government. We want the citizens of this area to know that they do not have to accept the "status quo", and continue to elect the same officials that they have for so many years.

We have already secured an area, and will have tables and chairs set up in the first building. The fairgrounds will have plenty of food and drinks for sale.

We will be showing short videos during the fair that will enlighten the visitors on the Constitution, the importance of faith in our lives and government, and will have a few patriotic music videos as well. We have pocket Constitutions that we will be handing out, as well as other very good material. We will have Jeff Harbaugh of Sportsman’s Choice Sporting Goods sponsoring a gun raffle, with winner to be drawn Sunday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m. If you are interested in the gun raffle, tickets are $10.00 per ticket, or 3 for $20.00. Please consider joining us for a fun time at the fair as we promote the presence of the 912 community, and the "Take Back Illinois" candidates in Montgomery County and surrounding areas. Our special guest speaker for the meeting will be Mr. Jeff Harbaugh, owner of Sportsman's Choice Sporting Goods in Litchfield. Jeff will be speaking on 2nd Amendment rights to the Constitution. Jeff is a dynamic speaker, and is very knowledgeable when speaking on the topic of 2nd Amendment rights.

We will also be showing a short film entitled, "Make Mine Freedom," which was one of a series of films produced by Harding College in 1948. Even though somewhat dated, the film helps create a deeper understanding of what has made America the finest place in the world to live.

Our special guest speaker for the meeting will be Mr. Wayne Rosenthal, Republican candidate for IL State Representative, 98th District.

Rosenthal, a life long resident of Morrisonville, retired from the Illinois Air National Guard after 30 years of commissioned service, and was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General. He graduated from the United States Air Force Fighter Weapons Instructor Course in 1979 and served in leadership positions within the 170th Fighter Squadron including Chief of Weapons & Tactics, Operations Officer, and Squadron Commander. He graduated from Sangamon State University (University of Illinois-Springfield) in 1974 with a BA in Mathematics. Rosenthal , a business owner and father of three children, is the Republican candidate for State Representative, 98th District. Wayne is running on a platform of eliminating obstacles that put businesses in the state at a competitive disadvantage and promoting policies that help the state’s economy grow by putting people back to work.

A Huge Thank You to All in Attendance!

The Shoal Creek 9/12 Group wishes to thank everyone for the huge turnout tonight! We had over 30 people in attendance, and this breaks the record for any previous meetings!

Thanks go out to Bobby Schilling, Candidate for Congress, 17th District and his team (Liz, Steve and Bill) for driving 4 hours to speak to us. He gave a very enthusiastic speech on his vision for the 17th District, and promised to work hard for the district once elected. We would also like to thank Wayne Rosenthal, Candidate for State Representative, 98th District, and Holly Lemons, Candidate for Montgomery County Circuit Clerk. We also want to thank the members from the Carlinville 9/12 Group and members from the Carrollton Group for joining us as well. Thank you to everyone who continues to make the meetings a success, and to those who stand with us in this effort to take our country back!

The next meeting of the Shoal Creek 9/12 Project is scheduled for April 15, 2010 at 6:30p.m. Our speaker will be Wayne Rosenthal, Candidate for State Representative, 98th District. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can take our state and our nation back!

Schilling, a native of Rock Island, graduated from Alleman High School and attended Black Hawk College. Schilling, a business owner and father of ten children, is the Republican candidate for the 17th Congressional District in Illinois. Bobby is running on a platform of bringing jobs and real representation back to the 17th District.

The War Has Begun, March 21, 2010!!!!
We saw tonight, with this shameless historic vote, just how far the Congress of the United States has fallen. These shameless, evil bunch of Chicago-Style hooligans have totally ignored the will of the American people and not only passed this bill, but they have thumbed their noses in the faces of the American people!

I implore you, each and every one of you, to stand up and fight!! Fight for the American Republic! Fight to take our country back! Fight to over throw this bill! Fight to vote every last one of those who voted for this shameless bill out of office! Call you Congressmen and Congresswomen! Get involved in your local 9/12 Groups and your Tea Party Groups, host a rally in your homes, email and call your friends and family, call you news media outlets, give contributions to the opponents of those running against these evil Communist men and women who voted for this bill!! Please, for the sake of your country and for the future of your children and grandchildren, get involved!! We can NO longer stay in our comfort zones, brain dead in front of our televisions! Read the Constitution! To quote the Declaration of Independence, "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor." Your country deserves nothing less! Let's work our tails off in the next few months to fire every one of these shameless, despicable Chicago-Style politicians! They have had their party tonight, but it will pale in comparison to the party the American people will have in November!!!

Finally, to all you Democrats who voted for this bill tonight, I advise you to start updating your resumes! We know who you are. We won't forget by November, in fact you have just reinforced the tidal wave that is coming this Fall. We are coming for you! We are coming for each and every one of you!!

Following a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, Michael will be screening the final segment of Judge Andrew Napolitano’s Constitution series. We will then be concluding our Constitutional studies with Lessons 4 and 5 of A More Perfect Union. We plan to finish the study series for A More Perfect Union, and then discuss plans for future meetings. If the group wants to, we may use a meeting or two to discuss Progressive agendas and tactics and a synopsis of Rules for Radicals. We would also like to invite everyone in the group to ask questions or to suggest a subject or subjects about which they would like more information. We will do our best to provide answers or to find a speaker who can do so.

Remember, there is strength in numbers and if we don’t stick together, we will face widespread defeat in November. As Benjamin Franklin put it, “We must, indeed, all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.” Come on out and enjoy good companionship as we fight to take back our great nation and invite friends and family along!

St. Louis Tea Party Celebrates One Year Anniversary

The First Anniversary of the St. Louis Tea Party was a time of celebration, looking back to their beginnings and for a rallying of the troops for the work that lies ahead. A handful of speakers such as Bill Hennessy, Gina Loudon and Dana Loesch did their part to "fire up the troops," as merchants sold banners, sweatshirts, bumper stickers and flags.

The St. Louis Tea Party writes,
"Since that time the St. Louis Tea Party has emerged as one of the preeminent and most active tea party organizations. Their April 15, 2009 Tax Day Tea Party drew 10,000 people to Keiner Plaza; area tea partiers have participated in town halls, various rallies, have organized petitions and “buycotts.” The tea party movement is credited for victories in New Jersey, Virginia, Massachusetts, New York’s 23rd district, and stalled such government grabs as a faulty health care reform bill and cap-and-trade."

Our group was proudly represented by Ken, Viola and Michael.

Next Shoal Creek 9/12 Meeting Set for February 18

The next meeting of the Shoal Creek 9/12 Project is set for February 18, 6:30 PM at the Montgomery County Farm Bureau building located at 102 N. Main in Hillsboro (next to the Court House). There is ample parking north of the building, and we will be using the north door directly off the parking lot.

During the meeting there will be a screening of the award winning film, A More Perfect Union as we begin our Constitution Studies. The National Centers for Constitutional Studies states this about the film: "This stirring 2-hour film will bring the Founding Fathers to life as you witness the struggles and the miracles that produced the Constitution of the United States and the freest nation on earth." Other short, inspirational videos will also be shown during the evening that you won't want to miss.

The September 2010 March On DC

Washington, DC. On January 29, 2010 a national board of advisors, consisting of members from some of the country’s largest independent grassroots conservative minded organizations participated in a roundtable conference to plan for the September 2010 events to be held on Capitol Hill, Washington DC.

Despite rumors and speculation concerning fragmentation within the conservative movement, many national leaders have united for a common cause. While few can logically deny that the September 12th 2009 “Taxpayers March on DC” was a huge success, organizers for the 2010 event are redesigning the format, planning early and this year they promise to deliver a message to Washington DC that both houses of Congress and the Administration, Democrat, Republican or Independent, will not be able to ignore.

The 2010 Event will take place from the 9th - 12th of September. The “official” web site for the event will be located at www.MARCHONDC.org. We will be working very closely with all of the media this year and welcome their presence. The official name of the “Event” will be released in the next press release.

Adam Andrzejewski Coming to Litchfield

Bob Lentz, of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau in Hillsboro, has graciously donated the use of the building so that we can meet every other Thursday night. First Shoal Creek Meeting set for January 7, 2010 - the local chapter of the 9/12 Project, the Shoal Creek 9/12 Project, has announced their kick-off meeting will be held January 7, 2010 at 6:30p.m. The first meeting will be held at the Litchfield Community Center, 1100 South State Street, in Litchfield. After introductions, plans are to outline the history of the 9/12 Project, and explain the 9 Principles and the 12 Values of the group. We will also touch on what the 9/12 Project is and is not, and to set goals for the coming year. Finally, the group will discuss new business for the meetings and discuss future meeting plans. Make plans now to join us on this exciting first night of the Shoal Creek 9/12 Project group. Let's go out there and make America the country our founding fathers envsioned her to be.
